Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

This position requires operation of forklifts and power jacks. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving incoming merchandise at our farm market, including unloading, receiving, pricing, and stocking.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Ensure trucks are unloaded promptly.
2. Check-in and receive all merchandise, verify accuracy, and record discrepancies.
3. Maintain a receipt log for all deliveries.
4. Store merchandise in appropriate locations.
5. Rotate inventory.
6. Organize and maintain warehousing areas.
7. Communicate scheduling and delivery updates to the Department Manager.
8. Operate forklifts, power jacks, and pallet jacks safely.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift certification (must obtain and maintain).
• Computer skills or aptitude to learn.
• Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for 8+ hours, lifting at least 50 pounds, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, twisting, turning, full range of motion, good finger dexterity, working in fluctuating temperatures.
