Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in New Jersey is hiring a part-time Warehouse/Backroom Associate to support receiving, stocking, and organizing shipments. You will help keep the store’s backroom and sales floor stocked, and ensure product rotation follows FIFO.

You will unload daily deliveries, sort and stage products, report discrepancies, rotate stock, maintain sanitation, and work in cold temperatures while lifting 8–32 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Unload daily deliveries safely and efficiently
• Sort, organize and stage products in storage areas
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom and storage area
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to management
• Rotate products following FIFO (first in, first out) practices to maintain freshness
• Properly handle products, use equipment, and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines
• Work in cold temperatures; lifting 8–32 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently
