Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring at our store in the United States. You will support the receiving area by processing deliveries, organizing backstock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety procedures. The position offers an hourly wage range of $17.00 to $25.40, plus Whole Benefits, including store discount and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break.
• Know and practice proper lifting techniques; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts up to 100 pounds, with repetitive hand use.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills to document transfers and time.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility of processing all product deliveries.
• Process deliveries in a timely manner with full attention to detail and procedures.
• Ensure receiving supplies are filled and maintained.
• Maintain backstock area and cooler.
• Keep receiving area secure while on duty.
• Break down and organize designated loads.
• Distribute received merchandise or notify team of arrival.
• Maintain receiving area in a neat, clean, organized and safe manner.
• Document product transfers and waste and spoilage using forms.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
