Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Receiving Specialist for our Webster, NY store to help receive, process, and move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role focuses on freight handling, merchandising, and keeping the receiving area organized while supporting efficient store operations.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive, team-oriented attitude and good customer interaction are essential.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
