Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Ohio is seeking a Receiving Specialist to help with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role supports freight handling, merchandising, and maintaining an organized receiving area to back up efficient store operations.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for serving customers and associates alike.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.

• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
