Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Specialist to help move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor.

You will handle freight, support pricing and merchandising, and maintain an organized receiving area to assist efficient store operations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, can work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to customer and associate interactions.

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
