Job summary

neteffects is seeking a Receiving Specialist / Material Handler on 1st shift in Hamilton, OH. The role supports shipping, receiving, quality inspection, and inventory management, including SAP-based records, material inspection, and forklift operation.

Primary duties include receiving materials, performing quality inspections with precision tools, recording movements in SAP, and selecting, packing, and shipping orders, with potential Friday overtime.

Qualifications

2+ years of shipping/receiving experience and/or 3–5 years of quality inspection experience.
Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory transactions.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures.
Experience with UPS, FedEx, and shipping documentation.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
Record inventory movements, returns, and quality issues in SAP.
Identify, document, and separate defective materials.
Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders, including international shipments.
Operate forklifts to move and organize materials.
Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Support quality control, rework, and employee training as needed.
