Job summary

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Receiving Technician to support warehouse and purchasing operations. You will receive and verify inbound materials, label items, and ensure accurate documentation in NetSuite and related systems.

The role requires reading and speaking fluent English, basic math and computer skills, ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs, and standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

Must read, write and speak fluent English.
Basic math skills (with calculator).
Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with breaks.
RF Scanner and/or ERP system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Systematically and accurately receive and verify inbound raw materials, packaging supplies, finished goods and bulk silo loads for warehouse operations and external co-packers.
Create LP/IB for all inbound pallets.
Label and tag all flammable, allergen, and temperature-controlled items for correct bin staging upon receiving verification.
Return all finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials to proper locations upon completion of the receiving process.
Upload and complete all NetSuite and system information regarding receiving, arrival documents, notes, BOLs/delivery documents and logs.
Revise delivery documents to reflect accuracy of delivery with driver’s signature.
Communicate any order discrepancies to purchasing upon arrival.
Receive, sign for, and confirm all package deliveries and distribute to correct sub-team.
Consolidate, verify, and LP/IB staged packaging material for trailer return.
