Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Missouri is seeking a Receiving Specialist to help receive, process, and move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role supports freight handling, merchandising, and maintaining an organized receiving area, while collaborating with team leaders and associates to ensure smooth store operations.

Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
