Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Receiving Specialist to manage goods from delivery to floor, assist with freight, pricing, merchandising and store recovery. The role supports efficient store operations and training new Associates.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be available mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for success and interaction with customers and coworkers.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
