Job summary

Ollie in North Charleston, SC is hiring a Receiving Specialist to support customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance. The RS helps unload and stock merchandise, price items, and keep the receiving area organized.

As a valued team member, you will greet customers, operate the register when needed, understand promotions, and assist with training new staff while upholding Ollie's service standards and core values such as teamwork, caring, and being value obsessed.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist (RS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The RS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck, moving freight from the truck to the sales floor, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Assist with training new receiving Specialists.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register as needed.
• Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
