Job summary

Ollie’s is hiring a Receiving Specialist at our Louisville, KY location to help receive shipments, move freight to the sales floor, and support store operations. You’ll assist with pricing, merchandising, and keeping the receiving area organized, while training new associates.

A high school diploma is preferred and a positive, team-oriented attitude is essential. This role requires availability mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; we offer benefits and opportunities within Ollie’s growing

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
