Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is hiring a Receiving Specialist to assist with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. You will handle freight, help price and merchandise items, and support store operations.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude and team orientation are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
