Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in North Carolina is hiring for a Receiving Associate who accurately receives merchandise, completes the receiving report when required, and maintains organization and safety in the dock and storage areas. The role includes operating a forklift, stocking merchandise to spec, and supporting efficient receiving and processing of deliveries and returns.

Successful candidates will follow club policies, demonstrate reliability, and contribute to a safe, positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives merchandise accurately and according to company process.
• Supports processing and organization of files, receipts and outbound shipment paperwork.
• Maintains dock security and monitors flow of team members and visitors.
• Ensures received merchandise is stored according to product specifications.
• Safely operates a forklift and processes Direct Store Deliveries (DSD) as needed.
• Regular, predictable full attendance is an essential function of this job.
