Job summary

Sun Orchard is seeking a Receiving Clerk for the Tempe, AZ facility on the third shift. You will load, unload and move materials, and enter receiving data into the SOI ERP system with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include counting and recording shipments, tagging materials, and supporting daily warehouse inventory. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse/forklift experience. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or GED required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience.
• Language/Communication: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of Word Processing software and general email writing and online research skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard or worksite.
• Enters receiving information into the SOI ERP according to SOPs.
• Counts and records number of units of product moved or handled on a bill of lading.
• Attaches tags or labels to incoming materials.
• Records product movement and acknowledges receipt of shipments; reports discrepancies.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with equipment; maintains clean work areas.
• Performs warehouse inventory as required.
