We have an immediate need for a Receiving Specialist responsible for accepting shipments from vendors, including unloading trucks, verifying that delivered items match the pack list, receiving products, labeling them appropriately, preparing pack lists for paint, backflushing items returned from paint, and assisting in placing products into locations.

Responsibilities

1. Unload vendor trucks
2. Verify shipment is not damaged before acceptance
3. Confirm delivered items match pack list by quantity and revision
4. Coordinate with purchasing to resolve pack list/quantity/revision issues
5. Print and label products appropriately
6. Move items to inspection area
7. Assist in relocating non-inspected items into storage locations
8. Create pack lists for items scheduled for painting
9. Backflush items returning from paint
10. Deliver non-production items to the appropriate internal personnel
11. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
12. Work with accounts payable to resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with forklift operation
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with Excel or Power BI
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good penmanship
• Willingness to stay late to complete tasks
• Ability to collaborate without authority
• Self-motivated and task-oriented, capable of working independently
