Job summary

FAST Global Solutions in Minnesota is seeking a warehouse associate to support loading/unloading, inventory control, and shipping operations. The role requires forklift certification and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems to move materials efficiently and safely.

You'll participate in 5S housekeeping, cycle counts, and equipment inspections, contributing to a reliable, safety‑conscious team that handles worldwide shipments with attention to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with loading/unloading and inventory handling.
• Ability to use ERP/MRP software for inventory movements.
• Forklift certification is required and materials handling equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shipping activities to ensure accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Receives inventory into the system and places items into stock.
• Inspects loading operations and seals truck doors as needed.
• Inspects equipment and notifies maintenance of defects.
• Directs movement of shipments from receiving to storage areas.
• Maintains and restocks warehouse and parts cage; adjusts for errors.
• Reads blueprints/machine drawings to determine material requirements.
• Maintains active forklift certification.
• Uses hand tools and material handling machines.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Uses scanning devices to process inventory movements.
• Completes weekly, daily, and monthly 5S tasks.

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of material handling functions to load, unload trailers and move materials within the plant. Capable of working with inventory control through utilization of ERP/MRP software. Familiar with and capable of using various types of lifting equipment. Required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives incoming inventory into business system and follows company processes to place items into inventory.
• Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, and seals loaded truck doors as needed.
• Inspects equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel.
• Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Maintains and restocks the warehouse or parts cage while adjusting for errors.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific material requirements.
• Obtains and maintains active forklift certification.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and material handling machines.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Utilizes scanning devices and technology to process inventory movements within the business system.
• Completes all weekly, daily, and monthly 5S tasks.
