Job summary

Tilebar is hiring a Receiving PIT Operator for our Tolleson, AZ distribution center. You will move and store materials using a reach truck, sit-down forklift and pacer, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include lifting and stocking, safe material transport, inventory collaboration, and aiding with packing and counts as needed. Prior PIT and WMS familiarity is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year PIT experience operating sit-down forklift, reach truck and pacer in a warehouse.
• Experience using a warehouse scan gun.
• Detail-oriented with a safety-first mindset and ability to read orders.

Responsibilities

• Lift, stack, and replenish products from shelves across shift.
• Safely transport materials using sit-down forklift, reach truck, and pacer in narrow aisles.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE use, and inspect equipment as required.
• Notify management about unsafe conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain inventory and fulfill orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and dispose of packaging material.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking/packing and inventory counts.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

As a Receiving PIT Operator you will be responsible for the movement and storage of material within the distribution center utilizing a reach truck, sit-down forklift and pacer.

Supervisory responsibilities

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish products, from various heights and weight depending on location, throughout the shift.
• Safely transporting materials within the warehouse or distribution center. This includes maneuvering the sit-down forklift, reach truck, and pacer through narrow aisles, around obstacles, and properly stacking or shelving the materials according to the storage plan or designated locations.
• Must adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes following established guidelines for speed limits, load capacities, and pedestrian traffic. You may also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and conduct before/after operational inspections of the equipment.
• Notifying management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the distribution center.
• Collaborating with management and other members of the warehouse team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• Occasionally assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
