Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Florida is seeking a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our distribution team and support high‑quality patient care through accurate medication processing and inventory control.

You will enter orders, maintain floor stock, rotate stock, and collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating handling equipment, and adhering to safety policies in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
  • Pharmacy purchasing, ordering, or inventory management experience preferred
  • Experience with Framework and/or ECM software preferred
  • Demonstrated reliability with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and position inventory weighing up to 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods while performing receiving and inventory-related duties
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, if applicable and permitted by company policy

Responsibilities

  • Perform all drug distribution duties.
  • Receiving order from all vendors and correctly process into system.
  • Responsible for inventory, place orders, checks drugs & supplies.
  • Enter medication orders in system accurately.
  • Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
  • Support and adherence policies for pharmacy standards.
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Schedule
  • 8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
