Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Fremont, NE is hiring a Receiving Operator to handle the receipt and unloading of raw materials and to perform master sanitation and inventory tasks. The role requires careful records, WMS accuracy, and safe operation of forklifts and related equipment.

You will work a 12-hour shift on a 223 rotation, collaborate with the supply team, adhere to GMPs, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Veterans are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willing to work varying shifts and overtime.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Preferred: 1 year of manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• Preferred: Knowledge of WMS and forklift/scissor lift.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload raw materials (bulks, liquids, bags).
• Operate forklifts to offload and store materials.
• Manage delivery documents and note discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the supply coordinator on inbound receiving priorities.
• Maintain the Warehouse Management System and report stock discrepancies.
• Conduct inventory counts of raw ingredients.
• Perform equipment verifications and basic maintenance.
• Uphold GMPs and food safety standards.
• Perform sanitation per Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Foster a positive, high-quality team environment.
