Behr Paint Company is seeking a Receiving Operator to coordinate receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials within the plant. The role uses PIVs including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck to support multiple departments.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a safety-focused mindset. Lifting up to 75 lbs and forklift training or certification are part of the duties; experience with SAP is a plus.

To thrive as aReceiving Operator, you must be able to easily coordinate the receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials while servicing the manufacturing departments.In this role,youwill use various power industrial vehicles (PIV) throughout the shift, including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck.

A standard shift will include receiving deliveries by completing theappropriate paperworkand unloading the truck before either staging or storing that material within the facility. Additionally, you will receive calls from the Filling and Milling departments to pull and stage materials for them as needed for production. You are expected tomaintaina clean and safe workspace and dock area throughout your shift.

Also, aReceivingOperatoris responsible forcompleting scheduled cycle counts to helpmaintainan accurateinventory of raw materials. A scan gun and/or tabletisused for these cycle counts, so a basic understanding of computer systems is vital.

Required Skills:

• A completedHigh schooleducation isrequired.

• Whilepreviousforklift experience is preferred, we welcome candidates without prior experience who are willing and able to complete training and obtain forklift certification.

• You’reconfidentnavigating basic computer systems, and if you have worked with SAP before,that’sa definite plus.

• Responsibilities involve lifting individual paint cans or, at times, full casescontainingfour cans, which can weigh up to 75lbs,several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.

Here is What We Offer You:

• Receiving Operators start at $19.50/hr. Team members will receive a $0.50/hrincreaseat6 months of employment and another $0.50/hrincreaseatone year of employment.

• Any shift that startsfrom12 PMor later (off-shifts) alsoreceivesa $3/hrshift differential.

• Quarterly and holiday bonuses are available.

• Accrue 15 paid days of vacation time off the first year plus5days of sick time off.
