Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking an Assistant Receiving Manager in New Jersey. This role supports daily receiving operations, processes incoming shipments, and ensures accurate documentation to sustain inventory accuracy.

The position requires strong organization, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse. Supervisory experience and flexibility with delivery schedules are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory operations
• Basic understanding of receiving processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support daily receiving operations to ensure accurate processing of incoming shipments
• Assist in verifying deliveries for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
• Maintain receiving records and support inventory accuracy
• Help identify and report discrepancies such as damages or shortages
• Provide support and guidance to receiving staff during daily operations
• Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination for receiving activities
• Ensure receiving areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate operational issues or concerns to management
