Job summary

Doppelmayr USA, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a dependable Receiving / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role handles receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and adhering to safety procedures.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain clean workspaces, and collaborate with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for damage, quality, and accuracy.
• Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment as needed.
• Organize warehouse storage areas and keep workspaces clean and safe.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure efficient material flow.
