Job description

Position Objective: Supervise, lead, and direct warehouse personnel assigned to receiving activities. Coordinate daily operations to align with company service and cost objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Plan, assign, lead, and participate in receiving and returns activities.
2. Monitor and ensure compliance with customs and import requirements.
3. Ensure C-TPAT requirements are met, including 7-point container inspections.
4. Address and resolve operational or dealership issues in the receiving area.
5. Monitor and replenish supplies and equipment needed in the shipping area.
6. Provide coaching to personnel and develop a productive work team.
7. Counsel department personnel on performance issues, escalating as necessary.
8. Guarantee the safe and efficient operation of all material handling equipment.
9. Address system-related issues and oversee the resolution of damaged inventory goods.
10. Oversee the pre-pack program to reduce freight claims.
11. Serve as backup to the Receiving Supervisor.
12. Maintain logs for air, ocean, domestic, and transfer shipments.
13. Motivate team members to meet and exceed productivity and quality targets.
14. Foster a continuous improvement environment to enhance processes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of parts warehouse experience.
• Solid knowledge of computerized parts systems (e.g., SAP).
• Experience in assigning work and leading staff.
• Knowledge of Hazmat regulations.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong mathematical foundation.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate is $23.25/hour, with adjustments based on location, education, experience, and skillset.
