Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon seeks a Receiving Specialist in Decatur, TN to manage all incoming and outgoing shipments of transformers, verify inventory against packing lists or POs, and maintain accurate records. You will operate material handling equipment and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.

The role includes coordination with internal departments to ensure timely production and maintaining a clean, organized receiving area with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory control preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Complete virtual warehouse transactions.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against packing lists or purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Label, sort, and store incoming materials; maintain inventory records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely production.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and pallet jacks to move materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe shipping and receiving area.
• Communicate with vendors and carriers to resolve issues.
• Tag transformers per oil pumping guide and PCB content.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
