Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate intake of material and proper placement within the warehouse. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying packing slips, recording discrepancies, and processing YM36 paperwork using SAP and scanners.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work with Excel in daily tasks. Basic education required, with HS diploma or GED, and 3–6 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Excel and basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and verify accuracy using packing slip.
• Receive all inbound material/product using SAP/Scanner.
• Label and put away material/product in correct locations; bin-to-bin as needed.
• Communicate discrepancies using the receiving discrepancy tool in SharePoint.
• Process YM36 paperwork.
