Job summary

USESI in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Receiving Associate to support our distribution team, handling material receipts, inspections, and proper put-away.

You will use packing lists and POs, follow SOPs, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse while backing up the will-call center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Reach truck and sit-down forklift experience; certification may be required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials according to SOPs and Purchase Orders.
• Puts away materials by dating priority and system assignment.
• Resolve receiving, put-away, returns and process exceptions per SOPs.
• Provide back-up support to the will-call center.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Receiving Associate to join our Distribution Team. This position will be located in our Cranbury, NJ location.

*Morning shift or day shift*

Key Responsibilities

• Receives and inspect materials for accuracy and damage using Vendor Packing Lists & Purchase Orders according to Standard Operating Procedure
• Accurately & efficiently Puts Away materials according to dating priority, system assignment, and Standard Operating Procedures
• Resolves Receiving / Put away / Returns / Process exceptions per Standard Operating Procedures
• Provides back-up support to the will-call center.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follows all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures
• Is flexible in work assignments, and assists with other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred
• Reach truck & sit-down forklift operator experience (certification may be required)
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet or exceed company productivity standards
• Team player with good communication skills
