Job summary

CablesAndKits is seeking a Receiving Associate to perform safe, accurate inbound operations with growing independence. You will verify shipments, document, and ensure items are ready for downstream warehouse needs.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while supporting shipping and fulfillment. Opportunity for growth to Senior Warehouse Associate within the team.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience in receiving and shipping within warehouse processes.
• Strong attention to detail with inventory and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments and purchase orders, checking products, quantities, condition, labeling, and documentation.
• Complete receiving, product identification, labeling, boxing or bagging, and warehouse system transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify shortages, overages, damage, incorrect products, and other discrepancies; investigate routine issues and correct them when authorized.
• Hold products that do not meet requirements and follow exception procedures.
• Prioritize inbound work to meet productivity and timeliness while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Communicate issues early and support shipping, fulfillment, and other warehouse functions as priorities change.
• Follow established processes and keep areas organized; flag replenishment needs and stop unsafe work.
