Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, and merchandise movement across the store in Lebanon, OH. You will handle shipments, process purchase orders, verify inventory, and replenish on the sales floor.

The role involves using scan guns and computer systems, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining precise receiving records. Flexibility and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, freight, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping and receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies with PO, DC, and vendors.
• Maintain receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, organize and distribute freight throughout the store.
• Replenish merchandise and assist with floor inventory during high-demand periods.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments accurately.
• Follow apparel receiving and merchandising procedures, including tagging and rack organization.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and scan guns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Participate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.
