Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to maintain accurate and reliable purchasing data, supporting procurement decisions with high standards of accuracy and accountability. The role emphasizes coordination with purchasing agents and daily reporting on inventory and costs.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm, in a warehouse/office environment. Candidates should have strong data entry, Excel, and communication skills and be comfortable working in a team-driven

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, math, communication and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Data Entry, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to create charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Enter all receiving data relating to all direct materials.
• Enter all receiving data relating to all indirect materials such as operating supplies, PPE, vaccines, etc.
• Assist in all issues of direct materials to production.
• Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of indirect operating supplies and PPE.
• Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of direct materials.
• Communicate daily with purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs.
• Manage and control all issues of indirect materials, operating supplies, PPT etc. to production.
• Develop daily reports for purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tag Out procedure and Process Safety Management.
