Job summary

C-A-L Stores Companies Inc. is seeking an organized receiving/warehouse associate responsible for daily shipments, unloading and checking in products, pricing, and processing store orders.

This role requires forklift certification and strong communication skills to coordinate with stores and the home office. Responsibilities include verifying purchase orders, entering data, creating price lists, and maintaining product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check in UPS, FedEx, LTL, and delivery shipments daily; count and inspect products, sign freight bill, report damages or shortages, log merchandise, and process purchases.
• Verify PO and packing slip match.
• Enter purchase orders into computer.
• Create price lists for unmarked products and coordinate daily transfers.
• Answer questions from home office regarding POs, shortages, and damaged products.
• Maintain forklift certification training.
• Answer incoming calls and maintain radio communication with associates.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping.
