Job summary

Cavicchio Greenhouses, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Team Member to support unloading truck shipments, labeling and tagging products, and preparing items for distribution.

This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to inspect products against purchase orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key duties include greeting truck drivers, organizing goods by type, operating a tractor and forklift, and placing incoming products in sales areas as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse/receiving dock preferred.
• OSHA Trained and Forklift Operator preferred.
• Experience operating a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license required.
• Ability to operate tractor and/or forklift or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Unload truck shipments and organize product by type/number.
• Label and tag product and place on pallets for distribution to sales areas.
• Greet and process truck drivers in preparation of receiving shipment contents.
• Evaluate received product, reporting any damaged or subpar materials.
• Operate equipment such as tractor and forklift.
• Place incoming product in the sales areas as directed by the supervisor.
• Maintain function and appearance of work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
