Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience involving product inspection
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane is REQUIRED
• Knowledge of common shipping practices
• Good computer skills a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and web-based programs
• Ability to interpret blueprints

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming materials and supplies
• Use testing/inspection procedures to verify quality and quantity
• Cross reference packing slips to purchase orders and notify relevant departments
• Electronically process received materials and supplies
• Pull raw material stored for production
• Organize by job number
• Assist purchasing and material handling personnel
• Assist QC inspectors with process inspections
• Unload trailers and ensure accuracy of incoming shipments
• Assist production with material needs and concerns
• Enter requisitions for supplies through the procurement system
