Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to perform visual, mechanical, and identification inspections on incoming materials and assemblies. You will apply IPC-600/ IPC-6110 and validate PCB specifications per customer drawings, while using an XRF tool to test lead-free components and manage MRB processes.

Responsibilities include training colleagues, maintaining ISO-related work practices, and ensuring 6S standards across the facility. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2–3 years related experience.
• Candidate must be U.S. citizen due to ITAR/CUI compliance.
• Experience applying IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 requirements.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment and electronic manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, mechanical and part identification inspection on received items.
• Adhere to ESD requirements and board handling procedures.
• Apply IPC-600 & IPC-6110 requirements for PCB validation on drawings.
• Test lead-free components for compliance using XRF tool.
• Manage quality purges through OCuity system and maintain MRB records.
• Train coworkers in fast-track incoming inspection for AVL approvals.
• Investigate non-conforming material and chair MRB as needed.
• Support ISO standards across quality, environmental, safety and security.
• Contribute to 6S objectives and maintain safe, productive work practices.

Summary:Perform repetitive visual, mechanical, dimensional, functional or electrical inspection of material, sub-assemblies and assemblies being received. Apply established inspection procedures and use inspection tools and instruments. Specify workmanship and material defects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL).Perform visual, mechanical and part identification inspection on a variety of products being received.Apply IPC-600 & IPC-6110 requirements for validation of PCB on customer drawings and specifications.Identify and recommend disposition of defective items in accordance with Company procedures.Test lead-free components for compliance using XRF tool.Manage quality purges through OCuity system.Train co-workers in “fast track” incoming inspection for AVL approval requirements.Investigate non-conforming material using data books and internet.Organize and maintain MRB and post-MRB disposition.Control and maintain MRB BPM messages and seek resolution of discrepancies.Chair MRB as required.Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore’s various Quality Management Systems.
