Job summary

NEOTech in Westborough, MA seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet workmanship standards and customer specifications during assembly. You will perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections, verify IPC-A-610 conformance, and ensure MSD/ESD handling and documentation control are followed.

The candidate should have 4+ years of related experience, be proficient with blueprints and assembly drawings, and able to work across multiple product lines while adhering to ISO and 6S

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience.
• Proficient with inspection procedures (First Piece, In Process, Final QC).
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Familiar with ESD and MSD handling.
• ITAR/CUI compliance requires US citizenship or eligible status.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1st piece inspections throughout manufacturing.
• Verify workmanship and process compliance with procedures.
• Disposition of assemblies for rework and repair.
• Authorize shipment of products that meet specs.
• Support ISO standards and 6S objectives.
• Operate OCuity MES and document control processes.

Job description

Summary:Inspection of product in the production assembly process through final system assembly.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL).Verify product compliance to workmanship standards.Verify process compliance to procedures.Verify documentation compliance to document control process/procedure.Verify product complies with customer requirements.Perform 1st piece inspections of products as required through out the manufacturing process.Ability to perform the necessary tasks of In Process Inspection.Disposition of assemblies for rework and repair.Authorization of shipment of product that meets industry and customer specifications.Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCores various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security.Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.Perform all other duties, as assigned.Job knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system (OCuity).Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.Pass IPC-A-610 Modules, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8.High sense of urgency and attention to detail.Ability to successfully participate in a team environment.Ability to read blueprints.
