Job summary

Bartelt Packaging, part of ProMach, is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk in our Sarasota manufacturing facility. You will process incoming shipments, verify freight against purchase orders, load and unload deliveries, inspect materials, and label parts using the ERP system.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of warehouse experience in manufacturing, the ability to read shipping documents, forklift experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of receiving/warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documents.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming freight verifying according to purchase order numbers.
• Loads and unloads freight carriers; operates forklift or hand truck.
• Checks incoming parts for coating and labels with part numbers in ERP system; routes to Production/Shipping/Paint Shop.
• Assists vendors in pickup of returned items.
• Unpacks and examines shipments, rejects damaged items, and routes items to departments.
