Title: Receiving Clerk Business Unit: Medeco Security Locks Location: Salem, VA (on-site) Department: Operations Shift: 1st EEO Job Class: Non-Exempt Status: Full-Time Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Manager Pay Range: $17.80/hr - $23.86/hr (DOE) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Receiving Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments of raw materials, products, and supplies. The Stockroom Receiving Clerk will ensure that all incoming goods are accurately documented and stored in the appropriate locations within the stockroom to ensure inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
• Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Record and update inventory levels in the JD Edwards system.
• Organize and store received items in designated stockroom locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment.
• Work with purchasing as needed regarding discrepancies or issues with shipments.
• Assist with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts.

Qualifications

The hourly rate for this position is $17.80 - $23.86. The final pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role.
