Job summary

Now Hiring!!!Receiving ClerkLocation: Vidalia, GAPay: $14.00Shift: 1stPosition SummaryThe Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, unloading containers, and accurately processing inventory transactions within the SAP system. This position ensures that all products, purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents are properly verified and recorded while supporting daily warehouse operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnter product information into the network and review reports for accuracy.Scan incoming products into the SAP system for receiving and inventory tracking.Build pallets and prepare products for proper storage and location.Enter all receiving transactions into SAP using internal and external documentation.Adjust inventory totals for raw material adjustments and requisitions as needed.Verify invoices and purchase orders (POs) against paperwork and SAP records.Process and complete transactions for products transferred into storage location (S.L.) 4000.Maintain effective communication with coworkers, the Receiving Coordinator, and management.Receive deliveries and sign for shipments from UPS, FedEx, and other freight carriers.Assist with locating products in warehouse bins as needed.Assist with unloading containers and incoming shipments.Complete daily inspections of assigned forklifts or electric pallet jacks using the required checklist.Follow all safety procedures and maintain accuracy in inventory records.Perform other duties as assigned.Must have lift experienceQualifications and RequirementsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and navigate SAP.Ability to read and verify invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.Strong organizational and communication skills.Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or SAP experience is preferred.Forklift or electric pallet jack experienceAbility to lift up to 50+ pounds daily.Ability to stand for the entire shift.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing both computer-based inventory tasks and hands-on warehouse duties.
