Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and keep displays fresh and organized. This role supports multiple departments and requires a friendly, proactive approach.

You’ll engage with customers daily, learn our systems, and help maintain food safety standards in a fast-paced store environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
