Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to provide remarkable customer service with great product knowledge in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will contribute to friendly store experiences, assist customers, and participate in merchandising across departments.

You will stock, rotate, and display items, using store technology effectively while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role supports daily operations and team collaboration to keep shelves full and inviting.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
