Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Joliet, IL is hiring for a warehouse/receiving role. You will receive and store items for the Hollywood Casino, inspect goods, and ensure accuracy of deliveries. A valid Illinois driver’s license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

The position requires English communication and may involve driving a company vehicle under MVR policy. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits and paid time off varying by policy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining guest experience.
• Receive and store all items delivered to the Hollywood Casino.
• Ensure items delivered are specified for the Hollywood Casino.
• Accept deliveries with a purchase order or receiving document.
• Inspect goods for damage and quality prior to acceptance; note any damage.
• Check purchase orders to ensure items were ordered.
• Follow proper signing procedures when receiving items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Warehouse and storage areas.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
• Receives and stores all items delivered to the Hollywood Casino.
• Ensures that the item being delivered is specified for the Hollywood Casino.
• Accepts delivery of authorized items. This requires a purchase order or receiving document indicating that the item is an authorized purchase.
• inspects all goods received for damage and quality prior to acceptance. All damaged items must be noted at the time of delivery.
• Checks specifications on the purchase order or receiving document to ensure items received are items that have been ordered.
• Follows proper signing procedures when receiving items.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the Warehouse and storage areas.
• Operates a fork lift in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSiCAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs., occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
