Job summary

Fodder Systems in Iowa is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Dyersville facility. This full-time, first-shift role supports receiving activities and material handling, labeling goods, and stocking shelves according to receiving instructions.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with basic computer tasks and good communication are required to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment expected.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read SOPs and receiving instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move material and/or goods between locations as instructed.
• Label and transfer received goods to correct locations.
• Unpack shipments; prepare items for shelving or repackaging.
• Notify recipients of special orders and communicate with supervisor for corrections.
• Monitor stock levels and support routine replenishment.
• Keep records updated in paper or computerized systems.
• Carry out safety procedures and participate in continuous training.

Job Details: Job Location: Manufacturing Facility - Dyersville, IA 52040, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: 1st Shift, Job Category: Warehouse, The individual in this position reports to the Receiving Supervisor and is responsible for conducting warehouse receiving activities or material handling tasks as assigned.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMove material and/or goods from one location to another as indicated by receiving instructions.Label and transfer received goods into appropriate locations.Pickup or arrange for pickup of local vender items, including furniture, raw materials, and supplies.Monitor stock levels and replenish.Unpack shipping containers, trucks, and packages received for placement on the shelvesor for repackaging.Notify recipient employees of special orders.Prepare scrap material for recycling.Keep records and update paperwork or computerized systems to indicate material or order status.Notify Supervisor or Manager of any errors that need to be corrected.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
