Job summary

Meyer Distributing Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our Kingman, AZ team. The role involves organizing and securing products for transport and reporting safety issues to management.

The hourly rate is $17.00 with potential increases based on performance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, ~40 hours, with shift times from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ideal candidates will be able to lift up to 75 pounds, handle bending and lifting repeatedly, and work in a noisy environment with heat and cold.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Clerk duties include securing and organizing products for transport.
• Maintain accuracy and quality checks on incoming items.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our Kingman, AZ team!

The Receiving Clerk will organize and secure products properly in preparation for being transported or moved. Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management.

Hourly Rate for Receiving Clerk: $17.00

with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary) 1st shift: (Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours) Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Requirements for Receiving Clerk:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Must have ability to grasp, push and pull with hands for duration of shift
• Must have ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures and humidity and work in a noisy environment
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must have ability to stand, walk, and squat for duration of shift

Receiving Clerk duties include but are not limited to:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Meyer VMS software
• Positive attitude and the ability to motivate employees
• Ability to give special attention to detail
• Ability to identify letter and numbers
• Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities
• Planning/organizing and follow up skills
• Quality control -the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensure quality
• Adaptability -the individual adapts to changes in the work environment , manages competing demands and can deal with frequent changes , delays or unexpected events.
• Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions ,responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

• All other duties as assigned
