Job summary

Meyer Distributing is hiring Warehouse Operators in Kingman, AZ to load/unload trucks, stock locations, and pull orders with scanners. You will operate forklift and manlift equipment to move parts safely and efficiently.

This full-time role offers a standard 5-day, ~40-hour week and starts at $17.00 per hour with potential increases through performance reviews and a solid benefits package including medical, dental, 401K, paid holidays and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Willingness to work up to 25 feet above ground.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate warehouse area.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks and fill orders for shipping or pick-up staging.
• Move products manually or with forklift/manlift equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.

Meyer Distributing is looking for Warehouse Operators to join our Kingman, AZ team!

The Warehouse Operator loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Hourly Rate for Operator:

• $17.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary)

1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00 PM

(Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours)

Requirements for Warehouse Operators:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights

Warehouse Worker and Operator duties include but are not limited to:

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
• Stock parts on racks in proper location
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area
• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift
• Load trucks and secures product
• All other duties as assigned
