SHift: Will train on 1st shift 6 am-4:30 Pm. Will then move to M-R 6 pm -6:30 am

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of items ordered and received into the warehouse. This individual will verify that all items are of the correct quantity and quality according to packing lists, and place the received inventory in specified areas of the warehouse with the utilization of a forklift or motorized pallet jack. The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for tracking deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with suppliers, as well as facilitating the return of damaged products to vendors.

While performing the duties of this job, the Warehouse Receiving Clerk regularly works near moving mechanical apparatus and is regularly exposed to vibration and moderate to high noise levels. The work environment includes congested and high traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and hand carts. Walking and working is done on concrete flooring, as well as high and precarious places, as necessary.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Physically inspect product for weight, condition, and quality
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Tag product with a slot label placed in the correct slot location
• Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks utilizing forklifts and/or pallet jacks
• Update the product inventory count as products are received and added to the inventory
• Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up

  • Put away product by HU using Scan gun
  • Forklift experience required
  • Turret truck experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; free range of motion
• Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed

Required Education and Experience:
• At least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment
• All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check to be considered for employment
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft programs
• An understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
• Forklift/pallet jack certification and a proven ability to operate such equipment safely and responsibly
