Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Technician in California to receive, inspect, sample, code, consolidate, and prepare hazardous and non-hazardous waste for processing and shipment. This hands-on role supports daily facility operations through material handling and forklift operation.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced industrial environment. Training will be provided for technical and chemical testing aspects of the position.
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Evening shift - 3:00 - 11:30 pm
The Receiving Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, sampling, coding, consolidating, and preparing hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for processing and shipment in accordance with company, state, federal, and environmental regulations. This is a hands-on industrial role that supports daily facility operations through material handling, forklift operation, inventory management, waste processing, and basic chemical testing.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Previous warehouse, receiving, material handling, hazardous waste, or similar industrial experience is preferred. Training will be provided for the technical and chemical testing aspects of the position. Forklift experience is required.
