Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s South Seas on Captiva Island seeks a Receiving Attendant to ensure accurate receiving of all food, beverage, and nonfood deliveries, logging against purchase orders and maintaining storerooms.

The role requires strong communication, a High School Diploma, and basic computer skills with Microsoft 365 Office; experience in hospitality is preferred and a team-focused mindset is valued.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English required.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma and progressive experience in hospitality.
  • Ability to understand and utilize basic computer equipment and applications, including Microsoft 365 Office.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure storerooms are stocked and ready for business every day.
  • Help load and unload deliveries, moving items from the receiving area throughout the resort.
  • Direct customer interaction with all vendors.
  • Examine contents and compare work orders, POs, invoices to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Direct communication with department leadership on deliveries using work devices.
  • Attend training/meetings as required by management.
