North Coast Electric is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our Portland-area operations. You will help keep the warehouse clean and organized, fill orders including wire and pipe components, and safely operate forklifts and equipment. You will support loading and unloading freight and perform other duties as assigned.

Shift: 5:30AM - 2PM

What You Will Do

• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling

What You Will Bring

• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
• Willing to learn from mistakes to increase productivity and accuracy
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance
• Ability to learn use of handheld (RF) scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Team oriented
• Safety aware and oriented
• Desire to learn and grow in responsibilities
• Solid written & oral communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Able to learn to use a forklift and other general warehouse equipment
• Completing EDGE in the first 30 days of employment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Use of forklifts and stock pickers
• Warehouse environment
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
