Job summary

North Coast Electric in Portland, OR is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inventory accuracy, order filling, safe forklift operation, and general loading/offloading tasks. You will help keep the warehouse organized to meet daily shipment goals in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role requires punctual attendance, a proactive mindset, and the ability to learn handheld RF scanners and the warehouse management system.

• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Proactive and self-motivated mindset with strong reliability.
• Willing to learn from mistakes to increase productivity and accuracy.
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Ability to learn use of handheld RF scanners and operating systems.
• Solid written and oral communication skills focused on customer service.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Use of forklifts and stock pickers
• Warehouse environment
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
