Ottenweller Company seeks a motivated Receiving Associate to join our fast‑paced warehouse team in Mount Airy, NC. You will verify shipments, support inventory accuracy, and help integrate products into our distribution process.

You will use WMS and RF scanners, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborate with shipping and logistics to ensure on‑time order fulfillment. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or shipping & receiving roles.
• Familiarity with WMS, inventory software, ERP systems (AS400), and MRP tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using WMS and RF scanners to ensure accuracy.
• Unload trucks safely using pallet jacks and forklifts per safety protocols.
• Document inbound inventory in ERP/MRP systems and AS400.
• Stock received items in designated locations to optimize picking and packing.
• Coordinate with shipping/logistics for order fulfillment and trade compliance.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support packing, picking, and fulfillment for customer orders including e‑commerce.
